Meet Jane Kinney, our April Caregiver of the month!

It is with pleasure that we honor one of our very best caregiver of the month! Jane Kinney has been a caregiver with Euro-American Homecare for the last 8 years. She has performed at the highest capacity as a caregiver to many clients male and female alike. No matter the situation, no matter the care needs, Jane is always ready and willing to take on a case, challenging or not.

Jane also comes to us with great experience as a Navy veteran. She joined the Navy in 1976 and retired in 1998 where she was a photographer’s mate during her time, then she returned to Connecticut and took a position at Foxwoods Casino as a dealer. Jane then assumed the role of a caregiver as her mom became ill. During this time, she worked part-time for Euro-American Homecare. She worked weekends with us and spent the weekdays with her mom. When her mom passed, Jane then became a 7 day a week live in caregiver.

We were so fortunate that she took on additional days as that meant that she could touch that many more lives. We admire Jane for her soothing approach, calm demeanor and ability to interact with our clients which is not always an easy task. We have found Jane to have an exceptional knowledge base and skill set while with working with clients with dementia. Due to this, Jane is a great success on 99.9% of our cases!

In addition, we admire Jane for always being readily available to take on a new case. Her easygoing personality, willingness, and accommodation to the office staff is greatly appreciated. We recognize the full worth of Jane as an individual and our caregiver. Join us in congratulating Jane Kinney as the Caregiver of the month for April 2017!
