Connecticut’s Live-In and Hourly Homecare Leader Since 1989

Euro-American Connections was Connecticut’s first and original provider of primarily Eastern-European caregivers for the elderly and people with disabilities.  Today we are the most respected live-in and hourly homecare provider in Connecticut.

Don’t be confused by recent “Euro” imitators. Our professionalism and caring are unmatched in the homecare industry. Thousands of individuals and families have chosen us to care for themselves or their elderly or disabled loved ones.

A Reputation for Exceptional Caregiving

Families and healthcare professionals have long recognized Euro-American as the place to call for caring, compassionate and truly professional senior in-home services. Most of our clients come to us as referrals from healthcare facilities and our own satisfied clients.

In the last year alone, our administrative staff of ten full-time professionals in our headquarters in Berlin, Connecticut, arranged for more than 340,000+ hours of caregiving for 200+ clients.

Our Beginnings

In 1989, after Maggie Drag settled in New Britain, Connecticut, she would go to local shopping centers and churches and place job listing flyers on cars. The area was brimming with Polish immigrants looking for work. Maggie found jobs for many of these people as nannies, housekeepers or other domestic help. Many were hired for short assignments and ended up working with their original client for years. From these efforts grew Euro-American Connections & Homecare, Connecticut’s live-in and hourly homecare leader.

Caregivers with a Special Connection

Many of our Polish and other Eastern-European caregivers have a special connection with Euro-American Connections & Homecare. Some came to Connecticut specifically to work with Maggie. Many have worked with Euro-American for five, ten or even fifteen years. They come to us and stay with us because they know they will be treated fairly and with dignity and respect.

Our in-home caregivers are often our best source for finding new, qualified caregivers when they refer their family and friends to us. We have hundreds of caregivers whom we know personally, and we use that knowledge to match you with the right caregiver.
