Euro-American Homecare, LLC is a full service non-medical Connecticut homecare agency, providing you and your family with a full range of caregiving services. We do all the administration, payroll and supervision of care providers.

  • The caregivers are our employees. We pay their wages and do all required tax withholding and filing.
  • Each employee-caregiver goes through a rigorous, 10-Step Screening and Evaluation, including face-to-face interviews, criminal background checks, professional and personal reference checks and much more.
  • All caregivers are bonded.
  • We provide Workers’ Compensation Insurance, Unemployment Insurance and Liability Insurance.
  • We provide extensive training for our caregivers.
  • Caregivers have on-site supervision by our Field Supervisor, with no additional cost to you.
  • On-call emergency response 24 hours, 7 days a week.
  • When necessary, substitute and replacement caregivers are provided, at no additional cost to you.
  • No long-term contract required.
Euro-American Connections, LLC is a referral registry. We help self-employed, independent contractor caregivers and other workers connect with clients seeking caregiving and other services.  This is a more affordable alternative for clients not requiring as much administrative assistance or supervision of services.

  • Caregivers and task assistants work directly for you.
  • You pay the caregivers and task assistants directly for their services and pay a referral fee to us.
  • We advise you on setting up proper care and what you should expect from your caregiver.
  • Our Care Team monitors your care experience to assure your satisfaction with the caregiver.
  • Each independent caregiver goes through the same rigorous, 10-Step Screening and Evaluation as our employee-caregivers.
  • All caregivers are bonded.
  • On-call emergency response 24 hours, 7 days a week.
  • When necessary, substitute and replacement caregivers are provided, at no additional cost to you.
  • No long-term contract required.

Which Model of Care is Right for You or Your Loved One?

Euro-American Homecare, LLC

Euro-American Homecare, LLC is a full service employee-based Connecticut homecare agency. The first thing we do is listen, so we can understand the health, preferences, personality, habits, abilities and history of the person we’ll be caring for.

A member of our Care Team can provide an on-site assessment of your needs if that’s appropriate. Through these assessments, we can suggest the best plan of homecare and other services—and select the best caregiver for you.

The next step is for our Care Team to review our database of hundreds of caregivers and send you one or more caregiver profiles with the specific skills and traits you’re looking for.  Our Care Team can also set up an interview, at your convenience, to meet the candidates.

The caregiver selected by you works for Euro-American Homecare, and we handle all of the payroll, withholding and insurance issues.

Eldercare Consulting and Advocacy by a Geriatric Social Worker

Ensuring the well-being of the elderly involves much more than finding a caregiver. Our Director of Geriatric Services, a geriatric social worker with 10+ years of experience, can provide an Eldercare Home Consultation (for a modest fee) to explore the various physical, cognitive, environmental and safety issues faced by you and/or your loved one.

Our geriatric expert pays special attention to any medical issues, potential safety problems and ability to manage in the home. She can consult with you about community resources and government entitlements, the variety of issues you face, such as:

  • How to apply for free adult diapers.
  • Where to find a podiatrist or other medical specialist to make a house call.
  • Healthcare benefits you’re eligible for that you haven’t discovered.
  • Benefits available for veterans or spouses of deceased veterans.
  • Help with the paperwork and procedures to move your loved one to an assisted living community or skilled nursing facility.

Our Director of Geriatric Services can also advocate for you (on an hourly basis) to receive these programs, benefits and supplies.

Contact our Director of Geriatric Services or arrange for her to contact you.
