•
Here are 3 things you can do to help spread awareness:
1. If you suspect something, say something – Any sudden changes to an elderly behavior. physical disposition or injuries may be cause for worrying. If you notice signs of neglection say something.
2. Spread the word about World Elder Abuse Awareness Day on Social Media – Most older adults can’t advocate from themselves. Be their voices.
3. Seniors deserve our respect and attention – Sometimes we don’t realize we are neglecting our senior community, let today remind us just how important it is to look after our seniors. To exercise compassion on a daily basis, and care about others rather than just ourselves.
