A Clear, Guided Process from Initial Call to Caregiver Match
Reach out by phone or by filling out our online form, and THREE things come back to you. A FREE foundational Plan of Care tailored to you and your loved one, along with potential caregiver(s) profile(s) near you, and a list of questions to ask home care agencies.
Our goal is to create the most effective Plan of Care for your loved one. One of our Client Managers will reach out to schedule an in-home visit. This allows us to get to know you and your loved one personally, understand their needs, and assess the home for safety. We'll note any existing adaptive equipment and flag any adjustments that could better support their independence at home.
Based on everything we have learned about your loved one, we will send you a couple of pre-selected caregiver profiles that we believe are a good match for your loved one's needs, preferences, hobbies, personality, etc. Once you have chosen a caregiver you feel good about, you have the option to meet them before services begin.
On the first day of services, our Field Supervisor will be on-site to ensure the Plan of Care is fully understood and followed. Clients are encouraged to ask questions, and we will be there to ease the transition every step of the way. From there, our Field Supervisor will continue with monthly in-home visits to ensure quality care is maintained.

Questions Families Ask Before Choosing a Service
These are some of the most common concerns we hear from families comparing levels of in-home support.
How do I know whether hourly, live-in, or 24-hour care is the right choice?
It usually comes down to how much support is needed across the full day and night. Hourly care works well for targeted help, live-in care is better for ongoing daily presence, and 24-hour care is best when continuous awake coverage is needed.
Can care begin with a lighter schedule and increase later?
Yes. Many families begin with hourly support and expand to longer visits, overnight help, or live-in care as routines change. We can recommend a starting point that leaves room to grow.
Do you provide support throughout Connecticut?
Yes. Euro-American Homecare serves families across Connecticut. If you want to confirm availability in your town, our team can help quickly during your consultation.
Can you help match a caregiver who speaks a specific language?
Yes. Cultural and language compatibility is one of the ways we differentiate our agency. We make every effort to align caregivers with the family's communication style, background, and preferences.
What if I am still not sure which service category fits our situation?
That is completely normal. The purpose of a consultation is to help you narrow the options. You do not need to arrive with a final answer. We can talk through the home routine and recommend the most sensible next step.
What if my caregiver calls out sick?
We have a network of backup caregivers screened to the same standard. A replacement is dispatched same-day.
Can I request a different caregiver?
Yes. Personality fit matters. If something isn't working, we rematch — no awkwardness, no fees.
Do you serve weekends?
24/7. Always.
