What Overnight Home Care Looks Like in Bristol

Forestville, Edgewood, Federal Hill, and the Rest

Bristol keeps its village names: Forestville, Edgewood, Federal Hill, Chippens Hill. People give them before they give a street, and every one is inside the city line and so inside the area we cover. Say the name you use for your part of town and then the street; the street is what the schedule is built from.

The Call at Three in the Morning

A daughter in Southington or a son in Farmington is close enough to be the one who gets the night call, and so the one who never really sleeps. An awake caregiver in the house takes the night, which means the call does not have to go to anyone in the family.

Bedtime to Breakfast, All of It Covered

The shift runs from the evening routine, with help at bedtime and changing for the night, through check-ins and help to the bathroom whenever it is needed, to the morning wake-up and breakfast. The walk to the bathroom in the dark is where many families worry most, and someone awake in the house is there for it.

Our only office is at 1436 Berlin Turnpike in Berlin, 15.6 miles from Bristol by road. There is no Bristol address. Scheduling, matching and your client manager are one phone call away in Berlin, and the caregiver comes to the house.

Getting Started Is Simple

A Clear, Guided Process from Initial Call to Caregiver Match

  1. Reach out by phone or by filling out our online form, and THREE things come back to you. A FREE foundational Plan of Care tailored to you and your loved one, along with potential caregiver(s) profile(s) near you, and a list of questions to ask home care agencies.

  2. Our goal is to create the most effective Plan of Care for your loved one. One of our Client Managers will reach out to schedule an in-home visit. This allows us to get to know you and your loved one personally, understand their needs, and assess the home for safety. We'll note any existing adaptive equipment and flag any adjustments that could better support their independence at home.

  3. Based on everything we have learned about your loved one, we will send you a couple of pre-selected caregiver profiles that we believe are a good match for your loved one's needs, preferences, hobbies, personality, etc. Once you have chosen a caregiver you feel good about, you have the option to meet them before services begin.

  4. On the first day of services, our Field Supervisor will be on-site to ensure the Plan of Care is fully understood and followed. Clients are encouraged to ask questions, and we will be there to ease the transition every step of the way. From there, our Field Supervisor will continue with monthly in-home visits to ensure quality care is maintained.

Why You Need a Plan of Care for Your Loved One?

A Plan of Care tells you exactly what level of support your loved one needs without committing to anything. We put it together because every family making this decision deserves clarity before they commit.

Tailored specifically to your loved one — their routines, their preferences, their history, their situation. Not a template. Not a generic checklist. A plan built for one person — yours.

You own the plan — always. You walk away with it regardless of what you decide next.
